Guidelines for expediting your Child's Passport

Need a child's passport? Get ready to have your patience tested. Acquiring or renewing a child's passport is no walk in the park. Over the past few years, new requirements have been added in an effort to combat child abduction and trafficking. 

This service is for Infants and children under 16 years of age

You qualify for this service if you answer yes to one of the following:

• I am a child applying for a US passport for the first time.
• I am a child whose previous US passport has expired or is about to expire.
• I am a child whose previous US passport has been lost or stolen.
• I am a child whose name has been changed through court order from the time my last US passport was issued.

Government fee of $140.00 payable to the U.S. Department of State is not included.
